Rick Conger began his training under Vic Milner in Murray Ky. in 1976. He has been under the direction of Jim Baize of Memphis, TN. since 1980. He has trained in seminars with some of the top instructors available today, notably Nishiyama, Sugiyama, Enoeda, Shirai and Shimoji.
Conger began his teaching in 1978.  He taught a college credit course three semesters for Murray State University in Murray, Ky. and taught at Murray Karate Center for 2 1/2 years. After opening Paris Karate in 1980 he taught part time until 1983 and is now in his 29th year teaching as a professional instructor. He is a 4th Degree Black Belt.
Rick is a native of Paris, TN. and a 1976 graduate from Henry County High School. He graduated in 1980 from Murray State University with a BS in Business and an area in Marketing. He is an Eagle Scout.   Rick is married to Pam Conger and they have one daughter, MIsty.
